Andrew Weiner
A graduate of the University of Chicago Law School – one of the highest ranked law schools in the United States – Andrew Weiner began his legal career working for two of the top “Big Law” firms in the world, one in New York City and one in Atlanta. After almost ten years in “Big Law” representing Fortune 500 companies and more, Andrew opened Weiner & Sand LLC to focus on representing injured individuals.
For more than ten years with Weiner & Sand LLC, Andrew has represented and counseled clients in Fair Credit Reporting Act matters, including matters involving background check, credit report and tenant screening report issues. Andrew’s experience also spans many aspects of employment law, including race, gender, national origin, age, and disability discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, retaliation and harassment claims, common law tort claims, the development and implementation of employment contracts, employee handbooks, personnel policies, reductions-in-force, independent contractor agreements and compliance with Title VII. He has also represented and counseled clients in claims involving the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state and local employment statutes.
