Weiner & Sand Files FCRA Action Against Resident Verify, LLC

On March 21, 2018, Weiner & Sand LLC, on behalf of its client Angelia Dukes, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against Resident Verify, LLC.  According to the lawsuit, Resident Verify, LLC violated Sections 1681c, 1681e(a), and 1681e(b) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act when it published inaccurate and obsolete information about Ms. Dukes in a consumer report.   As a result of Resident Verify, LLC's actions, Ms. Dukes was denied housing and suffered significant emotional distress.  The case is Dukes v. Resident Verify, LLC, Civil Action Number 1:18-cv-01192-LMM-JFK in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
