The Fair Credit Reporting Act is primarily regulated by two federal agencies, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Consumers can file complaints with both agencies, and also can contact the agencies with questions or concerns about their rights under the act.
